T'ai Chi Ch'uan
with Sifu Ron

About Us
The Camaraderie of students is an important part of the supportive, positive environment you will find at T'ai Chi Ch'uan with Sifu Ron. Enrollment is open-ended so that students can join anytime; you do not have to wait for a beginner's class. After Warm Ups, we break up into groups, acording to your learning level. T'ai Chi Ch'uan is slow, but rigourous Ë— everyone starts with the first step. Movements are progressive, detailed, and deliberate. Each move has application for Self Defense.

Ron San Miguel
T'ai Chi Ch'uan Instructor
In 1979, Ron moved to San Francisco to find a T'ai Chi Ch'uan teacher. He found a great one, Terrence Chan, a sixth generation Yang Style teacher of the traditional Long Form, and studied with him for a few years. In 1988, Ron returned to San Francisco to continue studying with Sifu Terry Chan. Sifu Chan is now retired, but Ron carries on the tradition.
